I cant remember doing anything to it, i think i logged on yesterday and it was working fine.

It's working now but everytime i go to post a topic i click submit the screen goes blank, i resubmit and then i get this error in a pinkish box:

Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit if necessary.

ugh. this is so much hassle. I havent even changed anything from yesterday, yet today the entire website is going down the shoot.

I've played about with the session timings in admin - nothing.

I've checked/repaired the sessions table with phpmyadmin - nothing.

I ran debug and for the first time i got theis error after i clicked submit:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/swstuden/public_html/Frameworks/art/object.php on line 133

This was instead of the blank page which i usually refresh to get the time out error.

The only 'errors'
That the debugging caught were:

1 - Which version of XOOPS are you using?
2 - What version of CBB are you using?
3 - Have you installed Frameworks correctly?

1. XOOPS 2.0.14

2. cbb. 3.07

3. "3 upload /Frameworks/ to your XOOPS root path:
XOOPS/Frameworks/art
XOOPS/Frameworks/fpdf
XOOPS/Frameworks/transfer"

http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?frameworks

right?

Obviously you forgot "...". You have to upload ALL the folders in Frameworks, not just art, fpdf, and transfer!! Among them, /Frameworks/xoops22/...

xoops 22 is there, but looking now the others arnt, just art and XOOPS 22.

I will re upload them now, but things have gone from bad to worse.

www.swstudents.com

nothing is showing up front end but all the categories and forums show up in admin.

My templates have dissapeared.

When you go to templates in admin it says name, created, etc.

Under templates it is blank, it used to have the modules i have installed listed there, right?

Johmo, from reading your post it seems you do not know/remember what you are uploading and where. May I suggest you start again with a fresh install, after a good night's sleep?

hehe, ouch.

If i do a fresh install, wont i lose all posts/articles/links etc?

Everything is were it should be, (from what i read)
Framework is in its place with all subfolders that came with it.

I restored from a back up, i can see my website as a non registered person, it all looks fine.

Except i cant log in. It says thank you for logging in but goes back to same old.

So i cant test out the positng in the forums.

That fresh install is looking mighty tempting.

I'm having second thoughts about the whole thing.
I 'beta' tested xoop for months, installing uninstalling modules, spamming the forums etc and it worked beautifully.

as soon as i go live it buggers up on me.
