Hi, renewehle,

Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP.

If you see a pop-up window when entering the site, then you are fine. The pop-up window is meant to carry an anti-phishing message to remind incoming visitor that they are browsing CK-ERP.net, instead of some on-line banking site. To by-pass the window, simply key in 'demo' as username and 'guest' as password.

If you can't reach the site, in the first place, then, I have to admit I am a poor guy who can't afford to purchase enough bandwidth for his site. Please, re-visit the site at some alternative time slot, which hopefully avoids the peak traffic period here in Hong Kong.

Cheers,
CK

Thanks a lot for your answer, now ist working your demo. But how install I the module under Xoops? Im have copied all files in the xoops/modules directory. The XOOPS does not recognize the modules.I do not understand also the guidance about Sourceforge. That is surely also my error, because my English is bad.

Hi, René,

The installation manual at sourceforge.net is a bit outdated. Please refer to the latest version of the Installation Manual embedded inside the CK-ERP software tarball. You could also read the Installation Manual, online, from,

http://ck-erp.net/ckerp/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/?page_name=Installation

Cheers,
CK

[PS - I'll update the sourceforge.net Installation Manual once I got some free time.]

Hi, René,

Looks like you're runing XOOPS + CK-ERP within a Win32 environment. Well, I am afraid CK-ERP is designed to fail within a M$ Windows environment. If your next question is whether there is a CK-ERP version that works with Windows, the answer is a resounding 'NO'. Previous answer to similar questions may help, at this point,

==================================================================================
This software is designed, so it, "Will fail within a Windows environment."

Let me first re-assure you that the Linux learning curve is a rather flat one, and the nice part of it all, is, you don't need to spend a dime building up your experimental learning system software-wise.

In a small way, I am doing my part in helping to lessen the grip lock M$ has on the IT profession. I would persuade you to try out any one of the freely available Linux distributions and setup/test CK-ERP from there.

==============================================================================

Cheers,
CK

Now I can understand but not support that. Fortunately my Webhoster uses the Linux in such a way and can I it now test.
