Changing Allready existing hyperlinks

Hi, im wondering how to edit a hyperlink that came with XOOPS & my theme to an alternate location.

for example i's like to change

http://lovepants.co.uk/modules/newbb/

to http://lovepants.co.uk/forum


Can anyone post a how-to or any form of help to do this?

The website is http://lovepants.co.uk/ (currently off but you can see the parts i'd like to edit)

This is called "url rewrite"

Its a pretty technical process, and as far as I know it is being worked into the core.

Granted, knowing this does not really answer your question, but isn't it comforting to know that pretty soon, it will be require only a few steps through acp.
