Hello everybody, i face problem which i found a temporary solution but my problem is still there.

Any time i try to move or delete (specific posts) - i mean that is not happening to every post!! - the posts_text table crashed and i can access my forum only after repairing ot thru PHPmy admin.

The problem is that i cant get rid those posts because always the table crashed..

any ideas how i can override this?
Do you know what can cause it?
The only thing that i did , it was that i delete some users...

ok my mistake, i have already the CBB 1.16 version (updated from newbb) i wrote newbb from the folder name.

any ideas?

Well to start you are using a version of XOOPS that is over a year old. Have you considered upgrading to 2.0.15?

It is not very easy for me to change versions cause i made a lot of hardcore changes in order to suite my site needs and members. I was thinking in the past and i tried once with bad results :(.

That is unfortuneate. It is going to become increasingly more and more difficult for you to get support as time goes on.

The really sad part in all this, is that because you have apparently modified your core. There is no reall way for us to guess at the problem.

Essentially you dug yourself into a whole. My suggestion would be to set up a fresh installation of 2.0.15 and move everything over piece by piece.

You have absolute right (and it was and my first project with XOOPS so there are many errors in there )
Can u tell me if i make a new installation XOOPS 2.0.15/cbb, and have the full backup of my XOOPS 2.0.13.xx it is possible to update all my data (Forum, articles, etc) ???

i dont need any update package (especially for forum data?)

Iam almost certain that the sql structure has changed drastically.

Essentially you would need to disect your tables and manually add the data into your new empty tables.

Alot of work, but as far as II know you do not have many options.

There have been upgrade scripts, but again I have no idea what modifications you have made to the database
