I'm confused about xoops installation

I just formated my whole hard drive, reinstalled Windows 2003 Server, Apache, php, mySQL and xoops. The only thing that really confuses me now is that some modules that worked in my last installation of XOOPS worked then, but don't work anymore now. Could anyone explain why that is to me? thanks alot!

Are you really expecting an answer to this question?

With the lack of details you will most likely get no real response.

Which Xoops, which php, apche, mysql? Did you reinstall the exact same versions(php 4/5; MySQL 4/5...)

Which modules, what kind of errors ...
