xcGallery creating 550 permission folder that user cannot upload

Hi,

Installed xcGallery 1RC1 and till now I am unable to
upload a single photo.

I found that xcGallery creates a folder that is 550
and not 777.

Error message.
"Impossible to move photo.jpg to albums/userpics/10001/!"

Anyone encountered this problem and has solved it??

What are your server configs?

Is SAFE_Mode enabled?

And edit the file /xcgal/include/init.inc.php by removing the 2 slashes at row 36 (//define('SILLY_SAFE_MODE',1);) for testing.
