Difference between .jpg and .JPG

Hi people,

My XOOPs version is 2.0.13.2 and I am feeling strange
about the Image Manager.

Whenever I upload "image.jpg" - no problem but
problem is I cannot upload the same file with
capitalised ".JPG" (image.JPG). So I have to
small-letter it from "image.JPG" to "image.jpg" manually
just to upload.

I was trying hard to look for the file extension
configurations but no avail.

Can some kind person point out to me where
I can rectify this?

The error message is

Errors Returned While Uploading
Unknown filetype rejected
MIME type not allowed: image/jpeg

It's an old bug. You might find a fix if you search the forum.

I would be interested to know if this has been addressed in 2.0.15? Photoshop 4 defaulted to using caps for file extensions and I'm sure there still are a lot of those files around.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

As far as I can see, it has been fixed in 2.0.15 - not tried, but looked at the code.

Indeed! I upgraded it to 2.0.15 and the error message disappeared! Thanks!
