I use the 7Dana Xred theme (Xoops 2.0.15), instead of the search button I get the following text: _MB_SYSTEM_SEARCH.
What is going wrong here?

It sounds like you may have a language definition missing.

Are you using another language than English?

@davidl2
I am using dutch (nederlands) language. I checked file blocks.php (\modules\system\language\nederlands) and this line is here
define("_MB_SYSTEM_SEARCH","Zoek");

@Biteronboard
I just us the 7Dana theme.

Could it be a Smarty problem?
Thanks.

Klomp, if language definition is ok, than must work. I have just tested on clean 2.0.15 and works fine.
define("_MB_SYSTEM_SEARCH","Search");

On many odd points like this sometime when people do langauge files as I am often finding and repairing they make a mistake with 'wording' to none wording and so it doesn't always correct its self....some times anyways...
