I have a bunch of companies listed in my xdirectory, but the websites aren't showing up?

I did see this in the module description:

It includes a place for website but only activated if a website address is in the DB.

How do I activate the website in the DB?

Sorry if it something simple I am new to using xoops.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Shawn

If they have entered a Business Listing URL, check if their premium is set to weblink (1), Highlight plus Weblink(3) or Page sponsor with weblink (5).

<select name="premium">
<
option value="0">Noneoption>
<
option value="1">1 WebLinkoption>
<
option value="2">2 Highlightoption>
<
option value="3">3 Highlight Plus WebLinkoption>
<
option value="4">4 Page Sponsoroption>
<
option value="5">5 Page Sponsor Plus WebLinkoption>
select>

Xdirectory will display a weblink if a business URL is entered and premium 1,3 or 5 is selected.

There are a couple of ways to access the "edit listing" admin panel.

Method 1:
If logged in as admin, browse to the listing you want to change, then select the admin edit icon next to the business title.

or, if you know the listings ID #

Method 2:

Open XOOPS control panel ->select Module preferences -> xdirectory -> Add/Edit Listing.

Scroll to the bottom, enter the listing ID # and click the "modify" button.

Either method will open that lisitng in the browser's admin panel. Check that there is a business url and that the premium setting is set to show a weblink.

If you have too many listings to edit using the admin panel, you could use phpmyadmin or similiar to check the xdir database table for listing url and premium setting.

Ok I found what you are talking about, but in the _MD_PREMIUM setting the only opition is show url and when i set that it does keep the setting.

Check out the site. I did add the website address in the address 2 line so it would show up for the time being.

http://www.partstrailer.net

under the business directory
engine builders
baxters is the one I was trying to get it to show the web address other then the one I entered in address two line.

Thanks
Shawn
