website hangs at /user.php

when you log into my site it ia hanging up at the /user.php page. the page that says "Thank you for logging in, The_Cheese.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here".
has anyone had this trouble too? what do I do?

try adding <{$xoops_module_header}> in the theme. and then do some steps to see the updated theme.html file.

i added the <{$xoops_module_header}> to the theme.html but i still can't get into my site so i can't do any of the other stuff you said.
anything else i can do?

I am willing to bet that this is a fresh install of 2.0.15.

If I am correct on this I gotta tell ya the easiest way to get around this is to uninstall 2.0.15 install 2.0.14 and upgrade to 2.0.15.

Sounds like a pain I know, but for some reason the full installs for 2.0.15 are just buggy for some of us.

I experienced the same problems when I did a full 2.0.15 install, but like i said upgrading will fix the issue.

i will have to check to see what ver this is but it has been running for quite a while now and i haven't done anything to it, it just started doing this one morning...

No I really cant, I too was unable to use the full install of 2.0.15 so all I can really point out is the "system_redirect.html" loop.

Like I said, if this occurs th best way to save your time and ours is to just install 2.0.14 and then upgrade to 2.0.15.

1. What was actually the last thing you changed?

2. Source code (refresh) looks ok

3. Does it also happen when you switch to default theme?

4. Does it happen when you switch to default templates (if you have actually cloned them)

the last thing that i changed was about two weeks ago i installed the XOOPS Protector module but thats it. it was working fine for those two weeks.

about changing themes... i can't get into my site so i can't change the theme. i can ftp into it though. i have a backup that i can reinstall but i don't won't to have to do that.

oh i misunderstood your question.. and this is 2.0.15..

hmm. logged in. but cannot access 'home'. maybe there is a block/script/file on the 'home' page that is causing the problem
