I uploaded all of the 2.2.4 files and then went to the system module and updated the system but it still shows the site as being 2.2.3. Any ideas?

Where exactly do you see the XOOPS version displayed?

In the Admin screen at the bottom... Now that you say that, is it that the version won't change unless there is a major update?

Check if that text is defined in Preferences >> System >> Meta Tags and Footer >> Footer.

That can't be automatically updated, since you may have customized it.

Also, it's not necessarily a good idea to display the version there, since that could help someone who's trying to exploit a security flaw in a particular version.
