Hello everyone,

I just started getting into this sweet Xoops.
Now well, I want to edit the things a user can write about in profiles.
There are MSN numbers and ICQ, but I want to change them. Know a nice module to help me?

Try the Membership module - it allows you to change the current fields to whatever you would like them to be, and add more fields to the profiles.

I installed the module, added the option to search for different profile data, but still am not able to edit other things in my profile as a user. Nothing new there, even when i changed the data at the module.

Did you set the permissions for each field in the admin area?

Do the fields have the same descriptions? If they do, you will need to update your template. In adminstration, go to system admin, preferences, general settings and change the option there. XOOPS 2.0.14+ says 'Check templates for modifications?'

You may be looking at a cached version of the form.

Are the field descriptions the same? We need more information than 'it doesn't work' or 'it hasn't changed'. Can we view the site?

Might have something to do with files being cached.
