How could I set my XOOPS so that the registered user don't have to login every time they enter my site? I have searched for this feature at the admins interface, but haven't found something like that.

Custom sessions. Make them longer.

Unless you mean something like this

Please note, that this hack may disable some of the Authentication features on 2.0.15

Could you expand on your last comment? I am using that autologin hack with 2.0.15. Thanks.

To Tognaco -

Preferences Main - General Settings:

- Use custom session - YES

- Session expiration - change from 15 to e.g. 60

Apparently the hack clashes with LAPD* (or is it LPAD or LDAP? I get it mixed up )

Could you summarise this briefly, or give a useful link?

I assume any problems relate solely to access to the XOOPS (and the registered users' content) rather than anything to do with the server?
