Marco:

Thanks for the updated module!

However, I'm still getting the same error from 0.4:

Error Code0013

ERROR
Could not query the database
ErrorOut of range value adjusted for column 'map_id' at row 1

Go Back ]

I also noticed this when adding a category:

Error Code0013

ERROR
Could not query the database
ErrorYou have an error in your SQL syntaxcheck the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' '1', '1')' at line 1

well, i don't have done much, but i'm now making many improvments on this module, adding new features and rewriting some parts.

Could you give me your environment : XOOPS version, php version, MySQL version
thanks

Marco,

While you are tinkering with this module could you look at adding a scale, a la standard Google maps.

My wish list:

1. Ability to add data to the DB and fields to collect such as lat/long and other geo information.

2. integration with other modules such as news or piCal would be great.

Marco-

Looks like the original problem of creating a category is fixed thanks!

Now when adding a point I get:

Error Code0013

ERROR
Could not query the database
ErrorOut of range value adjusted for column 'id' at row 1

khuhner

thanks for your confirmation, this has fixed our problem. i was waiting for it to go further.
here comes a more global solution, for add point, add category, add polyline.
please check from admin side and user side, should be ok now.
download link is on my website

Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: error in file c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\html\modules\googlemaps\managepoint.php line 190

after having applied the above code, could you confirm/infirm me this last one ?

thanks

Thanks Marco!

Tested 0.7e.

The adding points problem is fixed.

A couple of things I noted:

When viewing a 'point', the map isnt zoomed to the level specified when the point was created. Is that by design?

When creating the first category, why do I need to enter a zoom factor?

After adding one point, end-user is unable to add additional points?

Can the description be optional?

The directions fails with the error:
Quote:

We could not understand the location point.lat(),point.ln()

Looks like you are sending "point.lat(),point.lng()" as the location from the map.

Thanks for speedy turnaround on the fixes...it is very appreciated!

Kurt
