thanks... but... i can change the password stored on ldap? the idea is to give a generic password to all users and then they would have to change it... 2.0.14 can do it?

Nobody use XOOPS Authentication system with LDAP ??? , nobody reads the post??? ... nobody cares...??? or nobody KNOWS???... maybe nobody knows how to help me??? i challenge you to help me... how knows more???... ( i need anyway to find any help with LDAP... )

No you can't, XOOPS use the LDAP Authentication. It's not made to change your LDAP password (in the Authentication stage).

Good idea but the "Authentication stage" is not made for this. But it's possible to develop an interface in XOOPS to change the password. It's not very complicated.

thanks pemen for the answer... have you got any information about PHP-APACHE-LDAP i will try to develop that featured to change the passwords in the univesity where i study/work... if you could give me some information ... it will be very appresiated... thanks again!!!
