I'm using Catads and need the ability to ADD an ADDITIONAL image to the ad AFTER the ad was published. I can delete an image in the Admin panel, but I dont see anything that allows me to ADD and ADDITIONAL image.

Suggestions?

Hi khuhner,

I'm sorry but the software is that way . You have send a new ad to ad more images.

Try to ask at http://thecat.ouvaton.org

Hi,

when you read the ad, you will have two set of icons (if it is yours). The first set (left) has PRINT, EDIT, DELETE, ALL, IP. The second one (right) has EDIT, DELETE, STOP.

If you click "edit" on first one you will go to something like http://YOURURL/modules/catads/admin/adsmod.php?op=edit&ads_id=12 and you will edit your ad in something like XOOPS admin.

If you click "edit" on second one you will go to something like http://YOURURL/modules/catads/adsedit.php?op=edit&ads_id=12 and you will edit your ad in something like the form when ad is published.

USE THE SECOND ONE! There you should have all the picture slots - full and empty (if any). You can replace a picture in full slot and add a picture in empty slot. If there are no empty slots, you need first to add more photos in xoopsadmin -> catads -> category management "# of allowed photos".

Hope this helps. Tell me if it works for you.

I had typed a LONG email response at my frustration of checking and rechecking. I decided to reset 3 settings in the Admin panel:

Ads moderation:
Anonymous may post
Allow ad deletion

I had previously had them set to:

Ads moderation: Yes
Anonymous may post: No
Allow ad deletion: Yes

but then set them to:

Ads moderation: No
Anonymous may post: No
Allow ad deletion: Yes

It turns out that the option Ads moderation controls whether or not adsedit.php is displayed!!!!

If you enable this, the publisher of the ad and admin can edit, delete and ADD PICTURES .

Thanks to all (esp Stefan) for getting to the bottom this nuttiness!
