Is there a way to point each module to a different sub domain name. For example: mysite.forum.com, mysite.blog.com.

A simple solution if you have access to your server is to set up subdomains which map to the module path.

In Plesk, for example, I could set up: forum.sitename.com to map to http://www.sitename.com/module/forum

Thanks for the response. It is a litte more complex. I want to distribute application load across a few servers. So basically I would like to install the forum module on one server and the blog on another. The main XOOPS would be on another server. Bascally a distributed network with nodes.
