I've noticed that on Google, the links to specific content in my site...isn't specific. The links go to the general section that the content is in, for example a post in the wordpress section, on google is linked to just the wordpress section. Did I screw something up?

Sure, thanks for asking. If you google "the finger snapper" (without the quotes), the last one on the page is mine (living_abomination, one of the sites that I host and help with). You'll notice it gives the link as ghettonet.no-ip.org:8080/~hate/modules/news/

It's the section, but not the article.

Do you think it could have something to do with the no-ip.com web redirect?

I solved it, and I'll post it here just incase anyone else has no-ip.com and runs into it. The problem is when using http://www.no-ip.com for redirects, there is a checkbox for "URL Masking". If you check that, no-ip will hide your entire url behind your no-ip redirect. For example, http://exampleurl.com/~example/news/newsitem.php?=blahblahblah would be masked as http://exampleurl.com/ if you check the url masking box. Hope that helps someone.
