A registerd user do not have an access to a page he should have an access too

Sometimes he has an acces and sometimes he doesn't

What's wrong with Xoops?!

I'm building a "Get paid to complete offers" website and I'm getting the feeling XOOPS isn't right for me, it caused me a lot of troubles!

Why,
Why there is a problem with the permissions?!

Why a registered user can't get into some pages?!

I really don't understand what is it - is that a bug or what?!

Without more information it's not really easy to say, but it appears the permissions have been set incorrectly on the relevent module.

Perhaps access is available when logged in, and not available when logged out... or even the opposite?

Hi David

I set all the permissions correctly, it's very easy and shouldn't be any problem

Some people, when register, dont have access to a module even though in the groups section they are allowed to have an access!

When I try to use their username & password to login I do have an access - but they dont!

Why's that?!?

I have a feeling it's a bug in XOOPS but plz correct me if im wrong and let me know what is the problem

So what?

They most likely have a firewall or browser problem.

Ask them to try a different browser, add your site to trusted sites (if they use IE), allow referers in their firewall software ...

This is a problem on their end and not XOOPS otherwise you would see such issues all over the place in this forum.

Also a search (firewall, referer ...) might help.

Do your users have cookies allowed? Otherwise they can't login...

I'm answering regarding your suggestions and thanks for them

If it was one user then I'd say it's ok but it seems to me people in the US have this kinda problem

I talked to some of them, they have cookies allowed, try a couple of browsers and still the same problem

I don't think it's THEIR problem and I'm not looking to do that, I like users to enjoy my website, not complain about the way it functions, I'm here for them, and if there's a problem it's annoying me, not only them

The URL is

http://www.gptreasure.com

Xoops Version: 2.0.14

Module: US_OFFERS / INT_OFFERS

They are 2 blank modules I created according to the instructions on:

https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=280

I stated on my website that I allowed to anonymous users to have an access too

But I'll put the way it was now, so you can check it for yourself and let me know

By the way, tell me if you're living in USA or not, since it seems all the complaints were from US people; others had no problem accessing those sections as far as I know, but I'm not usre that is the issue

Please have a look and let me know what you think

Thank you!!

Living in Germany i can´t access neither the usa nor the international offers.

Yes it tells me i don´t have the permissions.

Can you provide a screenshot for the registered users group settings?

The FAQ detailing creating a blank module was designed for up to 2.0.13.2 not 2.0.14. This might be the problem.

The "Offers" page was created on blank module too, the News on the website as well

Nobody has a problem getting into them, so I don't believe that should be the problem

What's more, a blank module contains 2 simple files, I really don't think the version makes the difference in here

And even if it is the problem, I don't want problems :)

I want solutions, so let's say ok, the version is the problem, what should I do then?
