I am sure this should be possible but everything I searched is about some theme question.

How do I change the background color
In Here

or the size of size=xx-large

Check your CSS for the .XoopsCode class and change the background color.

As for the size of size=xx-large, do a search in your CSS for xx-large or provide more information on where it shows up (i.e., news module, blocks, etc.). Supplying a link/showing your CSS is helpful and would probably get you a faster fix
