O.K., if you hate this as much as I do, you can kill the transfer link completely in the template
newbb_thread.html at around line 77 by editing/remming out the link containing:
action.transfer.php?post_id=<{$topic_post.post_id}>" target="_blank"
I tried removing the target from the link, but then some of the features have a 'close this window' button that dumps the site window in the browser.
I like CBB but this feature really needs a re-think IMHO.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.
