I install the 2.0.14 update on a test site with no problem. I'm not sure what the "Authentication Options" are and what the setting should be. I would like to find this out before I install it to my main site. I did a serch on the forum but didn't see anything about the settings. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Just leave it at Xoops Database and you can ignore all the other options in there.


Its just that now functions were added to use LDAP or Microsoft Active directory servers for authentification as an alternate to the normal XOOPS users.

The reason is that in many company you already have a user database in ADS or LDAP and they can use that to logon to XOOPS and donĀ“t have to register yet another account.
