How do I get started?

Okay, so finally I made it

I've installed XOOPS and I think it works properly now

The only issue is I don't know how to get started

I'm doing a login to administrator system and I don't know what can I do there

I don't know how to set up my inbox, how to see all the users who sign up and more

Do you have a guide here which explains how to get started with the XOOPS system?!

Do you have any suggestions please? I'm so weak at those things, the only thing I know is HTML but I do wanna work with Xoops, it looks so good

Please help me with all the suggestions you have

Please check the Documentation site for some good information to get going... the link can be found in the top left menu.

It's also worth keeping an eye on the FAQ on this site as well, and the ever useful search option ... don't forget - anything you have problems with, someone else will probably have had the same... so searching for solutions is often much quicker

I read this section, and I still need some help

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask a few questions and be more specific:

1) Can I change the left menu of my website? can I change the XOOPS banners to other banners?

2) I saw I can upload Avatars (=pictures) - when I upload them can users pick the "System Avatars" for themselves?

3) What's the difference between System Avatars & Custom Avatars?

4) Is it ok to ask more questions on the long-term way?

Welcome to Xoops.

I cannot stress how important it is that all new XOOPS users spend some time studying the Xoops FAQ and Xoops Documentation links. All the answers to your questions are there.

Another tip is to use Google to search the XOOPS site: eg.

In Google: site:xoops.org changing banners
