Hi guys,

I've been running WF-Downloads v. for about a year without any problem - we've probably got a good 100 files or so online now.

For some reason, though, just recently it stopped accepting new files, and right out of the blue started giving the following error upon uploading:
----

Errors Returned While Uploading
Failed uploading file: Notes for June EOQ.txt

If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

----

Any ideas what might be causing this?? The problem is not space on the server as I checked and I've still got lots of room left. Can't think what would cause this problem so unexpectedly.

I can give temp access to my registered users site if it would help.

Thanks,

Joshua

I would suggest submitting your problem at the new WF-Download home: http://www.smartfactory.ca

There is a new release of WF-Download as well... but obviously make sure you back up everything before using it

Okay, thanks, I'll try on the WF-downloads forums for help. I don't really want to have to go through the pain of trying to upgrade - I'd much prefer to have this working again! - but if I have to I guess I'll do it

No, the server error log is clean - doesn't look like there is anything there.

Interesting side note - when I turn on debugging there are a number of errors spit out at the bottom of the page - no idea where they are from, but it's been doing it for a while (see http://obcl05.com). I don't think it's related, though.

I am very perplexed by all this... if anyone does have any ideas please let me know

Thanks,

Joshua

Your PHP version is at 4.4.2 - has your provider recently upgraded? The error messages at the bottom of your page (Only variable references should be returned by reference) start to show up in some of the later versions of PHP. Some modules will still work in this environment, but not all.

Upgrade may be the way to go.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll have a shot at upgrading.
