xhelp 0.78: notices make a huge error_log file

i have this notice in checkemail.php file:
PHP Notice:  Use of undefined constant _QUOTEC - assumed '_QUOTEC' in /home/jadoogar/public_html/class/module.textsanitizer.php on line 228


and i use cron job to check my all emails.

currently my server upgrade php to 4.4.2 and an error log file create in index page and it contains this notice that increase 50 lines in every minut.( every run in cron job )

so the file being huge after a little time.


i have the constant define("_QUOTEC","Quote:"); in engilsh and persian language.

That's fixed in the CVS version of xHelp. The latest snapshot (which is not really very new) is available at http://dev.xoops.org/nightly/xhelp.tgz

The fix for this problem was to change the order that the language constants are included in servicemain.php. If you don't want to completely upgrade xHelp, you could probably just merge in the changes for that one file.

thanks dave.i'll do that
i had this notice before without any big problem.
but now my server upgrade php from 4.3.11 to 4.4.2 (which i think is the latest stable version of php4) suddenly it create that error_log file.

the file is corrupted.
cant open it.

I just downloaded it again to check, and it's a valid gzipped tar file. Usually the extension is .tar.gz, but some people use .tgz.

AH thanks again Dave.
i just change tgz to tar.gz and extract it.
so its all stupid.
