I was looking at Wordpress for Xoops... looks pretty nice, but i was just wondering if you have used any other one.

Are there any you would recommend?

Any you would not recommend?

I use the wordpress module on my site and I have one complaint. Spam.

I haven't worked out how to stop comment and trackback spam so I have had to switch both functions off.

Other than that I like it.

I use WordPress also and have no problems. The included Akismet plug-in is a great spam deterrent. To activate it you need a free WordPress account (www.wordpress.org). It's easy to set up and stops spam 99.9% of the time (IMO)

Hope that helps!

I guess no one has had the problem of it messing up searches... I had the problem where if it calls the search function for another module after it calls the search function for Wordpress, Wordpress will mess with some of the global variables involved with searching so that the next module will not search correctly.

at least that was my experience... i'll try it again though. maybe i was doing something wrong.
