I am running 2.13 which i find incredibly stable.. I have a full blown site, with 3000 users and counting and working great for over some months.

problems i encountered are common bugs allready reported...

I see no furhter developement other than some minor things and workings that are being done from this release.

I am very confused on the numbering of the versions, like the new release is 2.0.14 RC, which in my case i find it confusing since i see 2.13 on my instaqllation

I tried searching the forums for this topic, with no luck, i know i must be serching wrong, but i do need some help PLEASE don't answer me like usual (this has been disccussed elsewhere stuff).. PLEASE HELP!!

What's the story and what will i have to do after the final release of 2.0.x is out? will i need to downgrade, upgrade or do what?

I have some modules that are for 2.x exclusively. however i see 2.2 and 2.3 allready release but i don't like the idea of upgrading since they are not full versions yet and my site is working 95% fine...

Can anyone explain this to me with apples and peaches since i lack experience with the XOOPS release history.

Thanks!

If you read the information on the development site with 2.0.14 it explains the changes and how they are trying to build a bridge between the versions 1st....

There are changes in upgrading to 2.0.14...so be careful and test first...

You can get a copy of wmserver or uniform server and test your whole copy on your own pc before upgrading on your live site..

That way you can fix any new stuff and not worry your members...

There is no such thing as 2.13 - are you reffering to version 2.13 of the system module, or 2.0.13.2 ?

Easiest way to check... go into admin, and scroll to the very bottom of your screen...

If your system module is 2.13, then you are using the 2.2x version of XOOPS and this 2.0.14 upgrade is Not for your version.

2.2 will merge with the stable 2.4 version, these upgrades (currently) are to get 2.0x versions of XOOPS ready for the final 2.3 upgrade.

HTH.
