Dear all,

I have got a problem with the login from a redirection site.

This is the situation: physically my site is stored at:

www.mydomainwithanamethathasgotnothingtodowiththesite.nl/map/hmtl/

But the virtual site where people "can" login is:

www.blabla.nl

When you open blabla.nl you cannot see the physical domain in the address bar. I want to keep it this way.
Anyhow, when you login you will get the message that everthing is okay, but when you push one of the options (for example the forum) the system
automatically logs you off... It surely has got something to do with the cookie, but how and where should I change the code?

Changing the Xoops_url won't help anyway...

Thank you in advance!

Marc.

Does not work. I suggest it has got something to do with the coockie, it saves a session or cookie at the physical domain, but not at the redirection domain. If so, how and where can I change it?

(sigh)

ok lets start over.... if you have more than one installation of XOOPS, then you could hack your login to log into the subdomain at the same time, using <form> code.

If it is a single instance of XOOPS what you are saying makes no sence.

Okay, so as I understand from your explanation I should make another install in the same directory as the first one. And what do you mean with change the <form> code? I understand php and can make some simple instructions, but where??

Thank you in advance.

download the "gunmetal" theme. open theme.html and you will see an example of a form login.

I am not saying install a new instance. I am trying to figure out why you are pulling content.
