there are a few XOOPS forums which i do not log into for long periods of time sometimes, but if i receive a pm during this time, i have no idea that it's been received until i visit the site again, by which time it's normally to late to reply.

Is there a way users can choose to be emailed when a pm is received from another user?

I'm using 2.0.13.2 by the way.

Be sure to run it in a test enviroment first.

Well i have this hack running for a couple off weeks.
And it works great.
Hope this will help you to decide to use this hack or not...
