OK, I'm the only one with access to FTP, modules, and system administration..

But my websites are all showing problems.

http://console-central.com
http://n-central.com
http://ps-central.com
http://xb-central.com

these websites are using the multi site hack with the original site being console-central.com

The news module seems to be having problems, including the system module...

I was wondering if anyone knows whats going on?

Here's an update...

When submitting news manually through news/submit.php I get

406
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /modules/news/submit.php could not be found on this server.

Host is out of disk space, so it could be a hosting issue..

If it has been working correctly. Then yes the disk space is likely to be the problem.

My hosting providers often let their /temp disk get full and my sites get unreliable. If useing cpanel you can see this as red flags. Send support an email they usually are not aware of the problem.

Yeah, they dumped the temp and everything works now.

Great news.

I usually monitor it on a regular basis.

It is the only thing I have found to make my sites unreliable.
