Had any luck running XOOPS with MySQL ver 5.0.20a? I know it's not yet officially supported but was wondering if anyone has any success getting it up and running. I'm trying to set up XOOPS and can get all the way to where it confirms the info for the database but then it goes to a blank page. I'm thinking because of the version of MySQL. I checked the db as well as the user settings via MySQL administrator and everything checks out. I also confirmed the port was set up and listening as I successfully telnetted to it.

Thoughts?

Which XOOPS and which php version are you using?

Yep...downloaded the latest from all.

MySQL ver: 5.0.20a-nt via TCP/IP
PHP ver: 5.1.2-win32
Apache: 2.0.55 win32
Xoops ver: 2.0.13.2

I was originally having the failed objects as stated in that thread Bender, and I made the change as suggested and I got all greens which brought me up to the db part. Thanks for the suggestion though.

rowdie, I'll look into your suggestion as this seems to be what I'm experiencing. I'll post back with results.
