Hi guys. I have made my own site using Xoops. Since Sunday all worked. But now i have a big problem: in the admin page all the icons of modules administration has disappeared. I can only see Xoops' banners on top and bottom of the page. Even system's icon has disappeared. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Without the administration panel i can do nothing! Thanks !

Actually, that's not entirely true. There's always direct manipulation of the database.

In order to help you, we need to know what version of XOOPS you are running. Also, did you make any major changes right before the problem appeared? Have you checked the file system permissions on the cache folder (it needs to be writable by the server)? Are you getting any debug messages at all?

Best Regards,

James

My XOOPS version is 2.0.13.2. The strange thing is that it worked at all since Saturday and now i have this problem. Honestly i think not to have done any error in configuration. I have deleted the Install folder and changed permissions to Mainfile.php as the red blocks say. No, any debug messagges. I don't know what to do!
If you like i can mail you a screen of the administration pannel.
Best ragards and thanks James !

Log into your site via FTP and check the permissions on the cache directory. For most hosting accounts, the permissions will need to be chmod 777 or Read/Write/Execute for Owner, Group, and World.

After you verify the permissions, check to see if there is a file called adminmenu.php inside of the cache/ folder. If there is, delete it. It will be recreated the next time you log into the Admin panel of your site.

Hope that helps.

James

P.S. Where are my manors?! Welcome to XOOPS!
