Greetings!

I'm fairly new to XOOPS and I would like to pay someone (paypal only) to create a block that contains a few links and images. The module needs to be on the 'side' section of xoops. This is a simple project and I'm anxious to get this done. Please let me know if you are interested and qualified to complete this project.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you need a block created not a module. If you want some links on the left or right side menu and want to do it free, try installing multimenu and working with it. It may work.

Thanks for the reply! You are correct, I do need a 'block' and not a module.

I want to provide a content block for XOOPS users (radio stations from my website), but I don't currently use XOOPS myself. I would prefer to have someone famililar with the coding standards xoop requires make this simple addon.

Thanks again!

What sort of information do you need to appear, as it may be possible and simple enough to use an existing script and get this to appear in a XOOPS block?

If all you need is links and images to be in a block just create a custom block through the admin section of the XOOPS site. It's a built-in feature, no coding required.

Or try the multimenu module, as rabideau suggested.

Thanks for the replies, this is a very supportive forum!

I will have a look at the multimenu block and see if I can use it as as template.
