Hey folks

Yes I'm a noob. I searched for an answer to this one, but couldn't find.

When I logon on the site, and then try to do anytype of submission (calendar event, news, etc) I get a message that tells me that I don't have the proper permissions. I'm then presented with another logon screen. When I logon the second time, everything works fine, and I'm never asked to do it again during that session.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've had problems with this before. I'm not sure if this is the correct solution, but look in mainfile.php

Where it lists the URL (line 39) it will have something like:

define('XOOPS_URL', 'http://yoursite.com');

change it to:

define('XOOPS_URL', 'http://www.yoursite.com');

I'm no expert but it fixed the problem for me.
