Hi guys, this is my first post here.. hope you can help me with my problem...

right now I'm doing a government web portal project for a friend..he would like me to include forms in the portal such as forms for applying scholarship, complaint form etc bla bla....

he would like the portal users can fill the form online and then submit it for the web admin to view

is there any available XOOPS modules out there that can do this ?

or is there another way of doing it?

thank you in advance

Yes I would like something similar but with the ability to turn those forms into word or pfd files and then be emailed to someone or with the ability to store then in XOOPS and limit who can access this.

I'm sure this would be a great feature for your portal.

These should do the job nicely.

I use Liaise 1.25, and have no problems with it. I also think it's easy to understand and use.

Make sure you check the developer's website for an updated version.

I have tried:

Liase
Formulaire

But you can't format so that they email in pdf or word format. I understand that would be very hard to do but one thing I think they are missing which they need is the ability to have the forms filled out online then emailed to people while saving the form in an area of XOOPS which later on you can go back though the list of all the form which have been filled out and only allow certain people to access it.

Re: Online Form

As discussed in another thread, Formulize will store the data in the database and provide you with a strong UI for reviewing entries. You can also set up highly customized e-mail options, though that requires some PHP work and use of the companion Pageworks module. There are details of how to setup an e-mail notification in this thread on dev.xoops.org:
