Thanks Stefan, I am cuurently on 1.16 should I update to 3.0 and see what happens to that page source... must admit I updated to 3.0 again last night and it still looked the same

Do you have cloned template set?

If yes, did you try to switch to the default one?

Did you clean your "templates_c" and just in case "cache" folders (without "index.html")?
..

I do have clone template set but its currently pointing at default template set.

So therefore yes I did switch to the default one.

I cleaned the templates_c and cache folders...

Hopefully getting somewhere...

did you check what imageset the module is using.? i know that if cbb cannot find the image from the image set it then shows blank.gif

They shuld be in newbb/images... folders

You could also try to change image set in preferences of newbb from "default" to "hsyong" and see if that will make a difference
..

Massive thankyou to Stefan and Bandit-X.. changed the DEFAULT image set to HYSONG and what do you know.. THE IMAGE HAVE REAPPEARED!!!

Whoever says XOOPS isnt a helpful bunch needs shooting!!
