How do I remove "New Topic" Link on "newBB"?

I'm new to XOOPS and I'm currently customising the default theme to suit my style. I need help on removing the Linking image on top of the newBB for New Poll...a good example is this one on "xoops site".

Where as, only the new topic link is available and not the new poll link.

Please help.

Do not give the group permissions and the link/button will not be shown. Edit the permissions in the forums.

If you are using CBB 1x the permissions are in each edit forum page. CBB 2x for XOOPS version 2.2x has them centralized under the permissions tab in the modules admin.

See the Forum Creation Flash Tutorial. It shows the permissions as set in CBB 1 or newbb 2.
