i recently changed the host , i copied all the files from the old host and transfered the db , but i am getting this error

Edit mainfile.php with the settings of your new webhost, in this case the physical path of your XOOPS installation.

If you don't know the physical path, ask your webhost.

And search on this site for the error, you will get a lot of results.

Clear templates_c and the cache folders. Some files in there are still pointing to your old site.

Edit: do not remove any index.html files in these folders as they are there for security(redirects to the main page if someone tries to access directly with a browser.)

Have you checked the psyical paths again, to ensure they are 100% correct.
