I am new to using xoops
How do I download and install the extended profiles module?
How do I download and install a new template?

Are there any instructions on basic installations?

Hello and welcome to Xoops.

It would help if you provide what version of XOOPS you are using. The extended modules came bundled with XOOPS 2.2.3, you should have installed it when you installed Xoops, if not, then under Administration, click on the install icon by Extended Profiles.

The XOOPS FAQ section provides helpful instructions on using Xoops. You can find it here:

Im not sure if this is a member here or not but I picked it up on the boards. Whoever posted this is a saint lol it helped me out alot.
