Hi All,

I installed the XOOPS and after I login to the control panel and after when I create anything in the administration area, for example, a webpage in the wf-channel or a link in the multimenu or same other action this is the administration I receive the message could not connect to the database after goes a blank screen.

The data of database connection is correct because I navigate well but any change in the data doesn't work.
I think may be the timeout of php.ini or the memory necessary (actually 8 MB) but I don't have rights to change this in my host.

Anyone can help me in this problem?

Rds,
Marcel

Perhaps your database_user was not given "all priveledges" when you added to the database

Thank you for your attention Biteronboard,
but the strange thing is that:

from my job,(there I use windows 2000 with 10 Mbps connection), the error doesn't happen.
But from my house, (there I use XP with cable modem 100 Kbps), and the other places, the error persists.

Does the configuration of internet explorer or the connection speed cause impact in the XOOPS behavior ?

I never saw this error before...

Thanks,
Marcel
