Hi,

After installation and trying to get into the admin panel I got the "Please delete the /install/ folder" which i did.

and the "please change the permissions in mainfile.php to 444 or read only"

I have done this, but through my FTP client and it keeps turning it back to 644.

I have done it on my PC (changed to read-only) and reuploaded but that doesnt work either.

The exact wording is..
WARNING: File /home/wildecou/public_html/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)

Thanks in advance

Do you mind giving up how you solved the problem. Iam having the same troubles. Even though the mainfile.php is marked read only (confirmed by my admin) I still get the stupid error message saying it is writable.
