I'm trying to use XOOPS for a RPG site that I have been working on for a few years. I had been using a CGI script for a member profile system, but it did not allow me to integrate any other part of the site into it (at least not without paying a great deal of money).

I'm very pleased with XOOPS so far, only I've yet to find an option to allow for "Custom Fields" on the profile set up page.. or registration for that matter.

Basically.. I need additional fields for things like.. "Character History" or "Character Description" or even a place where users can upload image files to place on their profiles.

Any ideas? Perhaps Mods?

You could also use the extended profiles module to add fields to your users registration and profile pages simultaneously. It comes stock with the latest version of xoops.
