I want to make use of RSS feeds on my site, but specifically targeted feeds and stories. For example, I want to use AP's Entertainment Wire, but only certain stories.

I've installed and tested virtually every module that came up when I did a search on 'RSS' or 'links'. Since I can't find an RSS module that will allow me to approve stories before they're posted, I've resigned myself to the idea that the best way to build this thing is to manually enter the stories I want to use.

But what I want is to be able to post a headline, and if the user clicks the headline, they'll be taken in a new browser window to an external link. Much like what Matt does at http://www.drudgereport.com . Or at worst, they'll be shown a headline, and when they click "Read More" they'll be taken to that external link.

In a perfect world, I'd like the articles to be displayed the same as news stories and articles are - according to the publish date that I assign to them.

Is there something out there that will do what I want?
