Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a strang problem with XOOPS 2.0.13-2. In a few words, I have no way to delete users.
I understand that the procedure should be:
- go to admin/users/fin users
- select criteria and search
- check the user(s) you want to delete
- select "delete" from the drop-down menu and submit.
Now, the problem is: I have no "delete" option in the drop-down menu, just "send mail".

Any suggestions around?

i believe it has a option delete in the module memberslist?

No solution so far but I found out something.
In admin/users/groups I look for webmasters group permission, I see that "Edit users" is deselected, so being unable to delete them makes some sense.
You will say: select the checkbox and click update, so you're done...
Too simple, if I do that way and I go back to check webmasters group permission, the "edit users" checkbox is again deselected. No way to change that setting...
Again, suggestions are welcome...

One more update: I figured out why it was impossible to set "edit users" rights for webmasters. For some reason the constant XOOPS_SYSTEM_USER in modules/system/constants.php was commented out in the file coming with the original distribution. Now that I removed the slashes I am able to set the "edit user" rights, but, still, no way to delete users...

If you go to

Admin--->System--->EDIT Users not FIND Users

Find the name and choose Delete User in the Drop Down.


Just did it on 2.0.13.2

Wow! It worked...
The problem was that I had no way to reach "edit user" through the administration menu... The only way to get to it for me is to manually go to the system/admin.php page.
