I got XOOPS installed and it runs but when i go to the admin panel it gives me this error:

Quote:
WARNING: File /home/www/clan-nfl.allhyper.com/html/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)

How do I fix this? My hosting allows me to change permissions but it doesnt have 444 as a option.

A nice way to do it…

Log in to cpanel of your site.

Inside the “site management tools”, choose the “file manager”
Then
Click on the name of the file and from the actins panel (right top of page) select “change permissions”..tick only the boxes at the “read” row
That’s 444
