Hey guys,

Just a query. Ive set up an IRC server. But now need a client that connects to it. Can anyone advise of a good module that does it. I have tried most of the ones in the list but they all have an error when loading applet. please help

yes theres an irc module for that look for the module

what irc server is that?

Im using beware irc 1.4.7

Have tried using all the modules in the chat menu. Is it possibly due to the upgrade to the new version of xoops? I have read up that a few people were having problems with this.

I was using ircmod module and my upgrade to 2.2.3a broke the java script. I have not had the time to try a different module. Perhaps another one works.

I have tried all of the modules in the directory.. Can anyone recommend another site to try and get modules from?

A flash based chat room compatible with xoops. not exactly irc but the results are commendable

I will certainly give it a go.. Does anyone know the last version of XOOPS that the IRC modules worked on?

The ircmod (based on pjirc) works fine on my site.

I'll have to check later tonight, but there is a modification to make on the files to not get the error, been so long i'll have to search for it.

Hey,

What error or problem are you encountering with the ircmod module, and which version of the module are you using?

I have 2.0 working fine on XOOPS 2.0.13.2 but a 2.5 version doesn't want to start. (Applet error)

I've fixed the applet by inserting the latest version of the pjirc and now starts fine.
