Hey there, I have version 2.0.13.1 installed and was wondering which upgrade link I need to get the current version of the new launch build displayed on the front page.

I noticed there were a ton of upgrades to choose from so I did not know which one to use. Not sure if I have to do all of the upgrades until I max out to the newest version in order or if there is just one link to choose from.

Forgive me it's just confusing.

So all I want is to upgrade my version of 2.0.13.1 to the newest version which is currently: 2.2.3

I used: XOOPS 2.0.13.1 to 2.2.3 Final Upgrade Patch and it failed. So this is why I am asking.

Please assist.

Odd, the 2.0.13.1 to 2.2.3 Final Upgrade Patch should work.

A couple notes:
Backup your site before attempting an upgrade
Make sure you read the directions carefully before upgrading
Only upgrade to the 2.2.x branch IF you need the functionality 2.2.x provides. 2.2.x has compatability issues and is not generally recommended for production sites.
As a rule, I recommend using the 2.0.x branch until the 2.4 branch is available. I think you'll have a lot less headaches that way.

If you have a high speed connection you can view this Flash Tutorial, it is an upgrade for the first version of 2.2, disregard the part about a patch, it is not needed with 2.2.3.

I *thought* they were in the package, but apparently I was wrong. Sorry about that.

jdseymour has put together and excellent flash tutorial on upgrading from 2.0.13 to 2.2.x on his site.

Thanks everyone, no high speed here. Stayed at 1% for about 10 minutes, LMAO.

Anyway, I just want a good stable version so as long as the one I Have which is 2.0.13.1 will work then I am good with that.

If there is any tutorials on upgrading I would be open to that.

This one for 2.0x System Upgrade is a lot smaller.

May still take a little while on dialup though.
