I have my site installed and running. I have all the permissions set to where thay should be, but mainfile.php keeps going back to 664 all by it's self. What can I do?

Make sure you're on a linux server - windows doesn't have chmod (stupid windows)

It is a Linux server. But mainfile.php is still changing itself to 644

How are you changing it? FTP? I have had troubles before that way. Use your websites control panels file manager to change the permissions.

changing the permision from the web base worked.
