Hello,

I'm running Article version 1 on my site at http://www.e-devotional.com (excuse the mess - still very basic and under development). I really want the main page to display the full text of the most recent article added, but I can't get it to do that! Does anyone know - do I have to somehow modify the block template to get it to do this?

Also, there seems to be no way to turn off the "rate" feature of the articles. I don't want my users to be able to rate my articles (which are only posted by admin anyway).

The article module has the ability to have a custom template for each article. It should not be too difficult to achieve what you are looking for.

I know, it *shouldn't* be too hard to do what we're looking for, but after hours of tearing our hair out we're thinking that maybe it's not as easy to use as it appears

We'll go back to wading through it... if anyone has any more helpful ideas please let me know...

Thanks for that idea. I did try that, but it didn't seem to help. For some reason, there isn't any part of the article showing other than the title and date (see http://www.e-devotional.com to see what I mean).
