Hi I am trying to upgrade my whole site and with the new forum it doesn't seem to upgrade the info properly?

It only upgrades the catergories and not the forums, am I missing some instruction?

The info is still there yet the forums are not linked as to be viewable, you can see the catergories, yet the forums only show in the prune section?

You need to redo all permissions to the forums. Each forum will need to be edited for permissions.

Thxz I will try it, I should have tried that, I had to do that with Newbb2.

Do you know how to fix the theme notification so it drops down?

With CBB after updating it seems to have put the catergories as forums and the forums only show in the prune section?

I am trying this on my home copy, yet the forum is the same as on .com, I just want to test before upgrading.
So how can I get CBB to upgrade properly and why would it not be I do get this error and it doesn't update properly:

Quote:
Notice [PHP]: Constant _MI_TEXT already defined in file \modules\xoopspartners\language\english\modinfo.php line 38

Before update PHPdebug

Quote:
Could not get post IDNotice [PHP]: Constant _MI_TEXT already defined in file \modules\newbb\language\english\modinfo.php line 103

After hiting update button bottom of update page, yet as well the page is non XOOPS and is white.

Could that cause it not to upgrade?

OK, lets start over fresh here. What XOOPS version are you running. What version of newbb are you upgrading from, and what version of CBB are you upgrading to. I need version numbers to help.

upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.13.2 with latest newbb that comes with that, modded to include page titles.

To XOOPS 2.2.3a and CBB 231

OK, so newbb version 1 to CBB 2.31. Did you update the newbb module in the module administration page? Any errors during the upgrade?
